Vegetarian Tofu Porridge |
Ingredients:
1. Rice x 100g
2. Xiao Bai Cai x 100g (pre-cut)
3. Tofu (Soft Bean Curd) x 150g
4. Carrots x 50g (pre-cut)
5. Dried seaweeds x 5g
6. Water x 1000ml
7. Soya sauce x 2 tbsp
8. Sesame oil x 1/2 tsp
Procedure:
1. Cook rice in 1000ml of water in a pot
2. Stir ocassionally to prevent the rice from sticking onto pot
3. Add carrots into the pot & cook for about 10 mins
4. Add xiao bai cai & tofu, cook for about 5 mins
5. Add dried seaweeds & cook for another 2 mins
6. Add soya sauce & mix well, power off the stove
7. Add in the sesame oil before serving
Preparation time for cooking: 40mins
Serving: 2 pax
