Vegetarian Steamed Tofu with Mushrooms & Tomato

Steamed Tofu with Mushrooms &Tomato 

This is a vegetarian dish, It can be easily prepared.


Ingredients:

1. Tofu (Soft Bean Curd) x 150g (pre-cut)
2. Shitake mushroom x 50g (pre-cut)
3. Golden mushroom x 50g (pre-cut)
4. Tomato x (pre-cut)
5. Vegetarian oyster sauce x 1/2 tbsp
6. Chilli sauce x 1/2 tbsp


Procedure:
1. Mix the tofu, shitake mushroom,golden mushroom & tomato in a plate
2. Add the vegetarian oyster sauce & chilli sauce and mix
3. Steam it together when cooking the rice in the rice cooker, it will be cooked in 20 mins
4  It is ready to serve

Preparation time for cooking: 30mins

Curry Vegetables with Chicken Meat

Curry Vegetables with chicken meat
This dish is easily prepared and tasty.

Ingredients:

1. Egg plant  x 150g (pre-cut)
2. Dried Bean stick x 30g (pre-cut)
3. Cabbage x 100g  (pre-cut)
4. Tomato x 100g
5. Chicken meat x 50g (pre-cut)
6. Water x 500ml
7. Salt x 1/2 tsp
8. Chilli paste x 1 tbsp
9. Chilli sauce x 1 tbsp
10. Coconut milk x 100ml

Procedure:

1. Boil the 500ml of water in a pot
2. Add chilli sauce & chilli paste into the boiling water
3. Add egg plant & cabbage into the pot
4. Cook for about 10 mins & add chicken meat into the pot
5. Add in coconut milk & salt and cook for another 10 mins at low heat
6. Add in tomato & cook for another 5 mins
7. Turn off the stove
8. It is ready to serve

Preparation time for cooking: 30 mins

Vegetarian Shanghai Noodle Laksa

Vegetarian Shanghai Noodle Laksa
This dish is vegetarian, slightly spicy.

Ingredients:

1. Shanghai Noodle  x 140g
2. Dried Bean curd x 100g (pre-cut)
3. Cabbage x 100g  (pre-cut)
4. Bean Sprout x 100g
5. Water x 1300ml
6. Salt x 1/2 tsp
7. Chilli paste x 1 tbsp
8. Chilli sauce x 1 tbsp
9. Coconut milk x 100ml

Procedure:

A.  Prepare the shanghai noodle
      1. Boil the 700ml of water in a pot
      2. Put the shanghai into the pot
      3. Turn off the stove & drain the water away when the shanghai noodle has softened
      4. Place in a bowl for the laksa gravy

B   Prepare the laksa gravy
     1. Boil the 600ml of water in a pot
     2. Add chilli sauce & chilli paste into the boiling water
     3. Add dried bean curd, cabbage & bean sprouts into the pot
     4. Cook for about 10 mins
     5. Add in coconut milk & salt and cook for another 10 mins at low heat
     6. Turn off the stove

C  Combine the shanghai noodle & laksa gravy
     1. Pour the laksa gravy into the bowl of shanghai noodle
     2. Food is ready to serve

Steamed Chicken Meat with Bean Curd in Rice Cooker

Steamed Chicken meat with Bean Curd
This dish is just need to cook together when you cook your rice.
By adding the tomato will have a slightly sweet & sour taste.

Ingredients:

1. Chicken meat  x 200g (pre-cut)
2. Bean curd x 50g (pre-cut)
3. Tomato x 100g  (pre-cut)
4. Salt x 1/2 tsp


Procedure:

1. Mix the chicken meat & bean curd together 
2. Add in salt & mix well
3. Seasoned it for at least 1/2 hour and add in cut tomato
4. Steam it together when cooking the rice in the rice cooker, it will be cooked in 30 mins
5  It is ready to serve

Kimchi

Kimchi
This kimchi is easily made with just 4 ingredients. It is a perfect side dish. 

Ingredients:

1. Cabbage  x 80g (pre-cut)
2. Garlic Chilli sauce   x 1 tbsp
3. Vinegar x 2 tbsp
4. Salt x 1/2 tbsp

Procedure:

1. Put Cabbage in a bowl
2. Add the garlic chilli sauce and mix well
3. Add in salt and mix together
4. Add in vinegar and mix well
5. Transfer it to an air tight container and leave it for at least 1 day
6. It is ready serve

note: you may keep it for a few days and it is still very tasty

From Guest: Fried Lady Fingers with Tomato

Fried Lady Fingers with Tomato
Slightly spicy, but nice, Yum Yum.

Ingredients:

1. Lady fingers  x 200g (pre-cut)
2. Tomato  x 100g (pre-cut)
3. Vegetarian oyster sauce x 1/2 tbsp
4. Soya sauce x 1/2 tbsp
5. Chilli paste x 1/2 tbsp
6. Sugar x 1 tsp
7. Water x 200 ml
8. Oil x 1 tbsp


Procedure:

1. Heat the wok
2. Add the oil into the wok
3. Add in the cut lady fingers and fry
4. Add in the cut tomato and contiue to fry
5. Add in vegetarian oyster sauce, soya sauce, chilli paste
6. Continue to fry
7. Add water & sugar and stew till cook
8. Turn off the stove 
9. Place in a plate and it is ready to serve

Serving: 2 to 3 pax

Shanghai Noodle with Pepper Sauce Gravy
Noodle is very chewy and tasty. Must try this dish!

Ingredients:

1. Shanghai Noodle  x 130g
2. Golden Mushrooms  x 100g (pre-cut)
3. Bean curd x 100g  (pre-cut)
4. Carrot x 100g (pre-cut)
5. Water x 1000 ml
6. Pepper sauce x 1 tbsp
7. Soya sauce x 1/2 tbsp


Procedure:

A.  Prepare the shanghai noodle
      1. Boil the 700ml of water in a pot

      3. Turn off the stove & drain the water away when the shanghai noodle has softened

C  Combine the shanghai noodle & pepper sauce gravy
     1. Pour the pepper sauce gravy into the bowl of shanghai noodle
     2. Food is ready to serve

Vegetables with Chicken Sausage Fried Rice in Rice Cooker

Vegetables with Chicken Sausage 
Fried Rice in Rice Cooker
Use rice cooker to cook this dish and is very tasty, please try.

Ingredients:

1. Carrot x 100g (pre-cut)
2. Button Mushroom x 100g (pre-cut)
3. Cabbage x 100g (pre-cut)
4. Chicken sausage x 50g 
5. Rice x 100g
6. Salt x 1/2 tsp
6. Sesame oil x 1tsp
7. Water x 200ml

Procedure:

1. Cook the rice in rice cooker with 200 ml of water & cut carrot
2. Add salt & cut button mushroom while the rice has cooked for about 5mins, stir the ingredients
3. Add cabbage & chicken sausage and continue to cook till the rice is cooked 
4. When the rice is cooked, leave it to 'warm' for about 15 mins
5  Before serving, add sesame oil and mix well
6. It is ready to serve.

Serving: 2 pax

Caution: be careful when open the rice cooker'c cover and make sure not water drip onto the bottom of the rice cooker

Fried Cai Xin with Shitake Mushroom

Fried Cai Xin with Shitake Mushroom
This dish is very tasty, please try.

Ingredients:

1. Cai Xin x 200g (pre-cut)
2. Shitake Mushroom x 100g (pre-cut)
3. Oil x 1 tbsp
4. Garlic x 10g  (pre-cut)
5. Oyster sauce x 1/2 tbsp
6. Soya sauce x 1/2 tbsp
7. Water x 100ml

Procedure:

1. Heat the stove, add in the oil
2. Add garlic and fry till you can smell the frangrance
3. Add shitake mushroom & fried for about 3 mins
4. Add cai xin & fry for another 3 mins
5  Add oyster sauce & soya sauce, continue to fry for another 1 min
6. Add water and fry for another 2 mins
7. It is ready to serve.

Bean Curd & Bitter Gourd
This dish is done by my guest and I'll like to share with everyone.

Ingredients:

1. Bitter Gourd x 100g (pre-cut)
2. Chicken meat  x 200g (pre-cut)
3. Bean curd x 50g (pre-cut)
4. Garlic x 20g  (pre-cut)
5. Oyster sauce x 1/2 tbsp
6. Soya sauce x 1/2 tbsp
7. Black bean paste x  1/2tbsp


Procedure:

1. Mix the chicken meat, bean curd & bitter gourd together 
2. Add in oyster sauce, soya sauce & black bean sauce, mix well
3. Leave it for at least 1/2 hour and sprinkle the cut garlic onto the dish
4. Steam the dish for about 30 mins
5  It is ready to serve

Carrot & Cucumber Pickles

Carrot & Cucumber Pickles
This carrot & cucumber pickles can mix with rice or fried noodles as a side dish.

Ingredients:

1. Cucumber x 100g (pre-cut into long strips)
2. Carrot x 30g (pre-cut into long strips)
3. Salt x 1/2 tsp
4. Sugar x 3 tsp
5. Chilli sauce x 2 tsp
6. Vinegar x 3 tbsp


Procedure:

1. Mix the cucumber & carrot together
2. Add in salt, sugar, chilli sauce & vinegar
3. Pour it into an air-tight container and leave it in the fridge for at least 2 hours
4. It is ready to serve

Sesame Ice Cream

Sesame Ice Cream
This ice cream only needs 3 ingredients: soya bean milk, coffee creamer and sesame paste. Should try!

Ingredients:

1. Soya Bean Milk  x 500g
2. Coffee creamer  x 180g
3. Sesame paste x 1 tbsp


Procedure:

1. Mix all the ingredients together
2. Stir until the coffee creamer disolve
3. Pour it into an air-tight container and leave it in the fridge for at least 8 hours or over-night
4. Take it out the fridge and use a metal spoon or electric beater to mix again
5. Put it in the fridge to freeze again & leave it for another 8 hours
6. It is ready to serve

Chicken Claypot Rice in Rice Cooker

Chicken claypot rice in rice cooker 
I used rice cooker to prepare the chicken claypot rice, Very tasty!


Ingredients:

1. Rice  x 100g
2. Cai Xin x 100g (pre-cut)
3. Chicken meat x 150g (pre-cut)
4. Bean curd x 50g (pre-cut)
5. Shitake Mushrooms x 100g (pre-cut)
6. Water x 200ml
7. Soya sauce x 1/2 tbsp
8. Vegetarian oyster sauce x 1 tbsp
9. Dark soya sause x 1/2 tbsp
10. Sesame oil x 1/2 tsp


Procedure:

1. Place the chicken meat in a bowl
2. Add in soya sauce, dark soya sauce, vegetarian oyster sauce & sesame oil, mix well
3. Add bean curd and shitake mushrooms into the bowl & mix altogether
4. Leave it for half hour
5. Add the mixed ingredients and cook the rice with 200ml of water in the rice cooker
6. Add in the cai xin into the rice-cooker once the rice cooker mode change to 'WARM'
7. Leave it for about 15 mins and the chicken claypot rice is done
8. Mix well before serving


Preparation time for cooking: 45mins (excluding the seasoning of ingredients)

Vegetarian Mee Hoon with Mushroom Gravy

Vegetarian Mee Hoon with mushrooms gravy
Should try this Mee Hoon with mushrooms gravy
I prefer this gray than the usual thick gravy, you may make gravy thicker by adding corn starch.


Ingredients:

1. Mee Hoon  x 130g
2. Golden Mushrooms  x 150g (pre-cut)
3. Button Mushrooms x 60g  (pre-cut)
4. Cucumber x 100g (pre-cut into strips)
5. Carrot x 20g (pre-cut into strips)
6. Water x 1250ml
7. Vegetarian oyster sauce x 1 tbsp
8. Soya sauce x 1/2 tbsp
9. chilli sauce x 1/2 tbsp


Procedure:

A.  Prepare the mee hoon
      1. Boil the 750ml of water in a pot
      2. Put the mee hoon into the pot
      3. Turn off the stove & drain the water away when the mee hoon has softened
      4. Place in a bowl for the mushrooms gravy

B   Prepare the mushrooms gravy
     1. Boil the 500ml of water in a pot
     2. Add vegetarian oyster sauce, soya sauce & chilli sauce into the boiling water
     3. Add golden mushrooms into the pot
     4. Add  button mushrooms & cook altogether
     5. Cook for about 10 mins & turn off the stove

C  Combine the mee hoon & mushrooms gravy
     1. Pour the mushrooms gravy into the bowl of mee hoon
     2. Add cucumber and carrot and mix well
     2. Food is ready to serve

Vegetarian Tofu Porridge

Vegetarian Tofu Porridge
This is a vegetarian dish, very nice & tasty. It can be easily prepared.


Ingredients:

1. Rice  x 100g
2. Xiao Bai Cai  x 100g (pre-cut)
3. Tofu (Soft Bean Curd) x 150g
4. Carrots x 50g (pre-cut)
5. Dried seaweeds x 5g
6. Water x 1000ml
7. Soya sauce x 2 tbsp
8. Sesame oil x 1/2 tsp


Procedure:
1. Cook rice in 1000ml of water in a pot
2. Stir ocassionally to prevent the rice from sticking onto pot
3. Add carrots into the pot & cook for about 10 mins
4. Add xiao bai cai & tofu, cook for about 5 mins
5. Add dried seaweeds & cook for another 2 mins
6. Add soya sauce & mix well, power off the stove
7. Add in the sesame oil before serving


Preparation time for cooking: 40mins

Vegetarian Fried Noodle
This is a vegetarian dish, very nice & tasty
                                                 
Ingredients:

1. Koka Noodle  x 150g
2. Cabbage  x 100g (pre-cut)
3. Baked beans from can x 250g
4. Tomato x 50g (pre-cut)
5. Water x 300ml
6. Soya sauce x 1/2 tbsp


Procedure:
1. Boil 300ml of water in a rice-cooker
2. Add soya sauce
3. Add cabbage into the rice-cooker & cook for about 5 mins
4. Add Koka noodle into the rice-cooker & cook for about 2 mins
5. Add baked beans into the rice-cooker and cook for another 2 mins
6. Stir the ingredients together
7. Turn-off the rice-cooker power & leave it for at least 5 mins
8. Food is ready now

note:
when opening the rice-cooker cover, avoid any water from dripping onto the heating plate


Preparation time for cooking: 20mins

Fried Green Pepper with Chicken Meat

This dish is done by my guest and I'll like to share with everyone.


Ingredients:

1. Green pepper x 100g (pre-cut)
2. Chicken meat  x 200g (pre-cut)
3. Garlic x 20g  (pre-cut)
4. Oyster sause x 1tbsp
5. Soya sauce x 1/2 tbsp
6. Pepper x  1/2tsp
7. Oil x 1 tbsp


Procedure:

1. Mix the chicken meat with oyster sauce, soya sauce & pepper
2. Leave it for at least 1/2 hour and it is ready to cook
3. Heat up the frying pan
4. Add in the oil
5. Add in the garlic and fry till you smell its fragrance
6. Add in the seasoned chicken meat and fry together
7. Add in the green pepper and fry for about 5 mins
8  Dish is ready

Fried Mee Hoon in Rice-cooker
This is a vegetarian dish, very nice & tasty


Ingredients:

1. Mee hoon  x 150g
2. Mixed vegetables: carrots, corn, pea  x 50g (pre-cut)
3. Button mushrooms x 200g  (pre-cut)
4. Tomato x 50g (pre-cut)
5. Water x 300ml
6. Soya sauce x 1/2 tbsp
7. Vegetarian oyster sauce x 1 tbsp
8. Sesame oil x 1 tsp

Procedure:
1. Boil 300ml of water in a rice-cooker
2. Add vegetarian oyster sauce, soya sauce
3. Add mixed vegetables, button mushrooms into the rice-cooker & cook for about 5 mins
4. Add mee hoon into the rice-cooker & cook for about 3 mins
5. Add tomatos into the rice-cooker and stir the ingredients together
6. Cook for another 2 mins
7. Turn-off the rice-cooker power & leave it for at least 5mins
8. Add in the sesame oil before serving

note:
